Healthy Morning Routine for Glowing Skin

Great skin starts with a good morning, quite literally! If you observe the morning routines of people with naturally healthy and glowing skin, there are quite a few practices that you will find in common. Let’s take a look at these early morning habits that are sure to give you clearer, healthier and radiant skin.


1. Drink up:

Start your day with a glass of water. As tempting as it may be to reach out for that cup of coffee first thing in the morning, keep in mind that your body needs to rehydrate itself as soon as you wake up. If plain water doesn’t sound quite as appealing, you could add some lemon and honey to it. Green tea and coconut water are some other great beverage options for the morning. And if you must drink your coffee in the morning, then wait to do that until breakfast.

2. Cleanse, tone, moisturize AND protect:

A morning skincare routine is non-negotiable, if you want to enhance the health of your skin. The key is to keep things quick and simple, but to use products that are gentle, nourishing and effective.


3. Work up a sweat:

Moving your body and getting some exercise early in the morning can work wonders for your skin. Aerobic exercise is an excellent way to rid your body of toxins and to revitalize your skin and body with oxygen. So, maybe it’s a good idea to skip the gym and take in the fresh air.


4. Eat a colorful breakfast:

If you’re in the habit of skipping breakfast, then it’s about time you broke that habit. There’s really no substitute for a good breakfast. A healthy and wholesome breakfast in the morning is the key to not only great skin but to your overall health and fitness. Whether you’re trying to lose weight, build your immunity or improve the texture of your skin, eating a hearty breakfast is crucial. So, make sure that you include a filling cereal (such as oatmeal), a variety of fresh fruit (make it as colorful as you possibly can!), protein and a handful of the good fats in your meal.


Incorporate these healthy habits in your mornings and you'll start seeing a difference in your skin!
